10 Low Calorie Healthy Snacks
When you are trying to eat the right way some times we overcomplicate things. Some of us do very well when it comes to meals, but have a hard time when we need to come up with a snack. There are many snacks that are both healthy and delicious. These 10 snacks are all under 155 calories and are healthy and delicious. You can pre-bag most of these for a grab and go snack at the office or out and about.
15 Almonds or 17 Peanuts are full of protein and make for a great snack.
Popcorn is one of my favorite snacks! Have yourself 2 cups of air popped popcorn for a filling snack.
3. Ham Wraps
Wrap up some Asparagus or long green beans with some good lean ham. Make 3 of these for a low calorie snack.
4. Veggies with Light Ranch Dip
Dip carrots, bell peppers or cherry tomatoes in up to 2 tbsp of light ranch dip. You can have 10 of each and still keep it at a low calorie snack.
Half of an Alvarado makes for a great snack with a ton of good fats. Sprinkle with a little salt and enjoy!
6. Celery Stalks and Peanut Butter
Celery stalks are usually very dull. Dip into peanut butter for a much more fulfilling snack.
7. Baked Cinnamon Apple
Bake a apple till soft – Sprinkle cinnamon over half and have a sweet snack that is easy on the waistline.
Enjoy 1 cup of grapes for a healthy snack. Freeze that same cup of grapes and enjoy it as a frozen treat before bed!
9. String Cheese
String cheese is always a fast and easy snack.
10. Celery and Salsa
Salsa is very light and healthy but the chips we normally eat it with it is not. Replace those tortilla chips with celery stalks for a delicious healthy snack.
